Just about ready to go!!!

By Ewan | October 11, 2008

First of all, apologies for the lack of entries for some time - as you can probably imagine things have been v. busy.

The short version is that we’re just about ready to go. Some final packing and readying tomorrow first thing and we’ll be on our way out of Poole harbour which has been a great home for the last few months.

Passage Planning

A HUGE HUGE thanks to everyone that has helped us get here - mostly too many to mention but a special thanks to Mark from Seacraft Marine - you’re a legend, and also Rich from Concept Sails and Harry from Gravity Wakeboarding.

Goodbye to Mark and Kirsten

So tomorrow we set off for the first leg to Porto in Northern Portugal. The weather is looking pretty gentle which will hopefully give us a reasonable introduction to Biscay sailing. We’re setting off with 5 crew: Duncan, Ewan, Alex, Sean and Jane. Sean and Jane joined us today so will have a few things to get up to speed on tomorrow, but luckily Questionable Logic is a pretty simple boat (!)
