Life in the Canaries
By Ewan | November 10, 2008
So we’ve made it to the canaries, and have spent the last week settling into life in Las Palmas.
Daily routines revolve around working through jobs on the boat, finishing off the bits and pieces we didn’t quite get around to in the UK, adjusting systems and making general improvements - like fitting more lights - low [...]

It´s getting warm!!
By Duncan | November 1, 2008
Well we promised a media filled update next, filled with photo galleries and videos….and after almost a week in Madeira, erm, well, we haven’t really gotten around to doing loads of website work (though no doubt as you have all noticed there is one new photo gallery available). However, generating raw information in the [...]

Heavy weather sailing - drogues and para-anchors
By Duncan | August 12, 2008
Plan for the worst and hope for the best - probably the best basis on which to plan long ocean voyages. While hoping for 15-20 knots of wind at TWA of 140 degrees, we do need to plan for conditions of 40+ knots of wind and serious seas, so onto the ‘fun’ task of [...]

The never ending jobs list…
By Duncan | July 8, 2008
It’s been a while since the last update, however we have been busy. As this project continues I am coming to truly understand why boats are alway referred to as women, for she is demanding all my time and money, requires constant attention and TLC and repays this all with an ever growing list of [...]
